Enhancing Online English Teaching: A Systematic Literature Review

چکیده :

Since technology and online platforms has had a great role in our daily lives and we cannot imagine a world without the presence of technological equipment, online English teaching has emerged as a transformative approach in language education, leveraging digital platforms to facilitate learning beyond traditional classroom boundaries. This new way of teaching offers remarkable advantages, including flexible scheduling, personalized learning experiences, and access to diverse resources and native speakers worldwide. Technological tools such as video conferencing, interactive software, and multimedia resources enhance engagement and cater to various learning styles. Online English teaching has revolutionized language education by utilizing digital platforms to offer flexible and accessible learning opportunities. This approach capitalizes on the convenience of virtual classrooms, enabling students to learn from any location at their own pace. However, challenges such as digital literacy, access to reliable internet, and the need for effective teacher training must be addressed. This systematic literature review (SLR) examines the evolution of online English teaching, key technological tools, pedagogical challenges, and future directions, with a focus on emerging technologies and innovative teaching strategies.
